“I’m sorry my Assistant was a dick to you”: Brown’s apology and how it makes me facepalm
OK, now I don’t get political (as much now), but here goes.
After an email was sent by an aide on a smear campaign against the Conservatives, the prime minister, Gordon Brown has apologized after pressure from the Conservative’s leader, David Cameron.
OK, Gordon, I don’t support you. I don’t like the way you are chipping away at my liberties (one of the one’s you left me with I will use now in this blog post), I don’t like the way you spin things and your photo ops and your sound bites to hide the fact you want to screw us…In fact the only thing that links us is that we ‘re both Scots. So, from one visually impaired Eastern Scot to another visually impaired Eastern Scot I must say this.

You fired Damian McBride, end of! You dealt with it! If anyone should apologize, McBride should! HE wrote and sent the email, it’s HIS fault, and HE should clean up the shit HE created! Cameron merely wants to humiliate you! And what did you do? YOU LET HIM! Now if you haven’t the balls to stand up to Cameron, YOU HAVEN’T THE BALLS TO STAND UP FOR US!
I had very very little respect for you, now that teany, tiny glimmer of respect has gone.
